Our names are Tatiana Śpiewak and Sarah Zechut, no collective name. We have known each other since 2018 when we danced in a piece by choreographer Sara Europaeus. Afterwards, we studied together at the Urban Contemporary programme at Amsterdam University of the Arts, parting ways for our internships. While Tatiana was working at Poetic Disasters Club (Club Guy & Roni), Sarah danced for Conny Janssen Danst. This season (2024/2025) we reconnected as freelance artists to create a duet. Our common language has its source in “de baarmoeder” (womb) and its stream of energy that gives rise to urgency. Through our practice we explore soft articulations and animalistic references. The intention of the work is to take one on a journey guided by music and movement, one that is experienced as a trance.
