“My latest work is a result of feeling torn between my homeland and the new home(s) I build for myself. It has become a parting ritual and a way to access memories of people and places that once felt irreplaceable.”
Tatiana searches for answers to her theme in embodiment, particularly in the heart chakra and the string of the arms. The solo is a translation of memories and accompanying sensations to dance. It creates space for feeling nostalgic while celebrating new beginnings.
